UGC Exam Guidelines 2020: All eyes are on the final verdict, which will be announced by the court tomorrow, just days after the Supreme Court reserved its decision to hold the final year degree examinations in universities before September-September. Securing the verdict on August 18, the court also gave all parties days to present their final arguments.

Students are protesting against the UGC that is giving final year exams to universities and colleges in the midst of the COVID epidemic. They say the epidemic has already created a lot of emotional and financial stress if tested without the risk of the virus.

The Delhi and Maharashtra governments later canceled the final year's exams due to the epidemic. Later, the UGC issued guidelines for conducting final-year examinations in every university in the country.

The apex court will also decide whether state governments have the right to rule against conducting final year examinations under the Disaster Management Act.Read More
